Republicans gather for annual Reagan Bean Dinner

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) State and local GOP members came together to continue a decades old tradition. About 500 Republicans attended to Reagan Bean Dinner at Hotel Fort Wayne Thursday night.

Several candidates in the November election were featured including Senate candidate Todd Young, Congressional Candidate Jim Banks and Gubernatorial nominee Eric Holcomb and running mate Suzanne Crouch.

Congressman Marlin Stutzman was honored for his work after losing the nomination in the primary to Banks. US Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas was also a special guest.

Attorney general candidate, Curtis Hill, and Superintendent of Public Instruction candidate, Jennifer McCormick, also attended the dinner.

Holcomb also joined Mayor Tom Henry for a groundbreaking at the Skyline Tower Thursday.

His opponent, Democrat John Gregg, was also in Northeast Indiana. He spoke at Trine University’s Distinguished Speaker Series.
