NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WANE) – A New Castle man was arrested Thursday afternoon around 2 p.m. as a result of an ongoing investigation after drugs were located in his apartment, making him the fifth person to be arrested in the city since October 19.
Arnold Matthews, 46, of New Castle, was charged with Possession of Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance. He was lodged in Henry County Jail.
The investigation was conducted by the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team, the Henry County Drug Task Force and Henry County Community Corrections.
