(WANE) Fall property tax payments in Indiana are due Thursday, November 10. The fall tax bill was included along with the spring bill sent to property owners earlier this year.
In Allen County, mailed payments with a November 10 postmark are considered “on time.”
Payment options in Allen County include the following:
- Electronically through the Treasurer’s website
- Credit card
- Payments can be dropped off in the Child Support drop box on the south end of the courthouse
- Pay in person at the Treasurer’s office
- Pay by phone by dialing-1-877-690-3729 and using jurisdiction code 7693 then just follow the prompts.
Payments may be mailed to: Allen County Treasurer, PO Box 2540, Fort Wayne, IN 46801-2540.
The Treasurer’s office is located in suite 104 of the Rousseau Centre, 1 E. Main St. in Fort Wayne. Please bring your entire statement when paying in person. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. The deposit slot in the front of the Treasurer’s office is available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The self-pay kiosk is undergoing a complete upgrade to the hardware and software components and may not be available in time for tax collection.
Payment information for counties other than Allen are included on the tax bill. If property owners have questions, they should contact the office of their county treasurer.
