FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Republican Dan Leonard is currently a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 50, which includes all of Huntington County, as well as western Wells County and southwestern Allen County. Leonard wants to continue in his position because he wants to bring more initiatives to the region of Northeast Indiana.
Leonard has a Bachelors degree from Purdue University and has served in the General Assembly for 14 years. Leonard cited one his accomplishments as supporting legislation that provided a grant to improve roads and bridges in the district.
“I want to bring more things back to Indiana. We have a delegation in Northeast Indiana that is outstanding and works well with the administration in Indianapolis to get more projects, more money,” Leonard said. “I think there is a lot of potential coming.”
Leonard is running against Democrat Jorge Fernandez and will be on the General Election ballot in November. To learn more about Leonard, visit his website.
