Fort Wayne, IN– The Komets season opening winning streak was snapped at three games with a 3-1 set back to the visiting Kalamazoo Wings Saturday night at the Memorial Coliseum giving the Komets a split of the weekend home-and-home series with the Wings. The Komets clipped the Wings Friday at Kalamazoo 2-1.
After a scoreless first period, the Wings scored three unanswered markers in the second period to take a 3-0 lead into the second intermission.
