Meet the Candidates: Republican David Ober, State Representative, 82nd District

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – David Ober is currently a member of the Indiana House of Repenstatives, representing District 82, which includes all of Noble County, and portions of Allen, Elkhart, LaGrange, and Whitley counties. Ober, 29, says he has a long view of where he wants the state to be.

Ober said he is enthused to see other young people like himself get involved with politics.

“In House District 82, newly registered voters between 18 and 25, there are about 1,000 new people that are going to be voting for the first time,” Ober said.

Ober currently works as the Tourism Asset Coordinator for Noble County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
