Komets stay perfect with 2-1 win in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WANE) – David Friedmann and Kyle Thomas each scored rebound goals on Friday night as the Komets improved to 3-0 on the young season with a 2-1 win at Kalamazoo.

Pat Nagle topped 33-of-34 shots in goal for Fort Wayne.

Charlie Vasaturo’s goal with just under four minutes remaining in regulation was the lone goal for the K-Wings.

These two teams play again Saturday night at War Memorial Coliseum. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
