HENRY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A man who was driving while suspended was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Thursday evening after being found to be in possession of nearly 4 oz. of marijuana.
Pendleton Tropper Blake Stephenson was working traffic on I-70 in Henry County when he clocked the man traveling at 98 MPH. Officer Stephenson pulled the driver, Donyea Gerald Ardis, 43, of Indianapolis over and it was discovered he was wanted in Marion County for driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
Upon further investigation, Stephenson found Ardis was in possession of the marijuana. He was lodged in Henry County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana over thirty grams, a level 6 felony and a misdemeanor of driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
