Meth, syringes found in Huntington County park

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – The Huntington County Sheriff’s Department found several used syringes and a metal container with crystal meth inside. The Sheriff’s Department issued a public safety warning on their Facebook page Friday afternoon.

According to the Facebook post, the syringes were found laying along the side of the road on West Park Drive, west of Memorial Park. The container with meth was found on the opposite side of the road.

The Huntington County Sheriff’s Department asked everyone to use caution when letting children out to play. The want to remind everyone that if anything drug related is found to call the police. The Sheriff’s Department will properly dispose of drug-related items, which could be contaminated.
