Fort Wayne Airport celebrates Customer Appreciation Week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) will say “Thank You!” to passengers during the week of October 17 to 21 with Customer Appreciation Week, in conjunction with Hospitality PAWS, a dog therapy program to bring passengers calm and comfort.

The celebration will include daily visits from Alliance of Therapy Dogs registered handler and dog teams, along with a variety of promotions. The celebration kicks off every morning with a sampling of fall specialty drinks from Seattle’s Best Coffee each morning from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. An FWA prize package will be given each day to an early morning “Road Warrior” through a raffle drawing, according to a press release from FWA.

The celebration began Monday with a visit from the Mad Ants mascot. Subsequent visits will include Visit Fort Wayne on Tuesday morning, Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Tom Henry on Thursday morning, and Fort Wayne TinCaps on Friday afternoon, according to the press release.

The Hospitality PAWS program is in partnership with Pets Assisting Well-Being and Success (PAWS, Inc.).
