Driver with suspended license crashes vehicle

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A woman with a suspended license crashed her vehicle at approximately 9 a.m. Friday, sending the vehicle turning over before coming to rest in a ditch.

According to a press release from Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department a woman was driving in a 2003 Suzuki Aerio, traveling westbound on CR 28 approaching CR 00 on the Noble County line. The driver of the vehicle was traveling at an excessive rate of speed and missed the curve to the left. The driver began to spin counter-clockwise, going through the intersection. The car overturned before coming to rest on its top in the west ditch of CR 00.

The woman was wearing her seatbelt. She was transported to a nearby hospital where was admitted for internal injuries. Due to her suspended license, she was issued a traffic citation.

Parkview Noble EMS, Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Kendallville Fire Department, and Kendallville Police all assisted on the scene.
