Early voting begins Wednesday

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Early in-person voting for the 2016 Presidential Election will be available to all Allen County registered voters beginning Wednesday, October 12 in the lobby of the Rousseau Centre.

The Rousseau Centre is located at 1 East Main Street and will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through October 31. Limited free parking is available during the week at the Freimann Square parking lot across Clinton Street from the Rousseau Centre. Voters can also vote early on Saturday, October 29 at the Rousseau Centre from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m, according to a press release from Allen County Election Board,

Beginning on November 1, the Rousseau Centre and Aboite, Dupont, Georgetown and Hessen Cassel library branches will be open for extended dates and times for early voting:

  • Tuesday, November 1 and Thursday, November 3 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 2 and Friday, November 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The final day to vote early is Monday, November 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and only at the Rousseau Centre.

A photo ID is required to vote at the Rousseau Centre and library locations.
