FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Indiana candidate for State Representative, 81st District, Democrat Bob Haddad wants to bring and end to ISTEP testing and investing in green technology. Haddad is a teacher at Wayne High School and feels that ISTEP testing is wasteful to the state budget.
“It’s not representative, meaning teachers aren’t at the table when these questions are being developed,” Haddad said.
Haddad also said it’s important to provide grants and funding to businesses for green rooftops.
Haddad is running against Republican Martin Carbaugh, who is currently holding the position, and will be on the General Election ballot in November.
