North Side’s Jaylen Butz commits to DePaul

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – North Side senior Jaylen Butz made his college decision on Thursday as the six-foot-nine forward verbally committed to play at DePaul.

Butz picked the Blue Demons over offers from Ball State, Indiana State, Toledo, Kent State, Oakland, and Illinois-Chicago. He can officially sign with DePaul next month.

Butz, an Indiana Junior All-Star last season, averaged 16.4 points and 11.1 rebounds during his 2015-16 high school campaign.
