Second pizza place robbery in 2 days

Police investigate a robbery at Papa John's on Bluffton Road.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) An armed robber got away cash from a Papa John’s store early Tuesday morning.

According to police, in an incident similar to another robbery the night before, a suspect went into the restaurant at around 1:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of Bluffton Road, showed a gun and got away with cash.

After getting the money, the suspect ran off. With the assistance of a K9 officer, police searched the area behind the business.

Police at the scene said the suspect was wearing a mask and was completely covered, making a describing him difficult.
