Concordia clinches SAC volleyball title with five-set win over Dwenger

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Concordia volleyball team edged 3A no. 10 Bishop Dwenger in five set on Tuesday night, earning the Cadets the SAC title.

The Cadets won 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 10-25, 15-11.

The wins keeps Concordia undefeated in SAC play. The Cadets still have to face Northrop on Thursday, but with head-to-head wins over Snider and Dwenger the Cadets have already clinched the conference title.

It marks the seventh-straight SAC title for the Cadets.

Teddie Sauer – a Wright State recruit – had 18 kills and 8 blocks to lead Concordia while Abbie Oetting added 10 kills. Caroline Morrison tallied 42 assists while Audrey Kruse recorded 30 digs.
