Amber alert issued for missing teen canceled

SHERIDAN, Ind. (WANE) — The Amber Alert issued for the missing teen who was believed to be in extreme danger has been canceled. Both subjects of the alert were found safely.

17-year-old Madison Lloyd was with Dustin Fisher, an escapee from Hancock County Jail, who is considered a violent sex offender. They had last been seen around 1 a.m. Monday morning, which prompted the alert.

Authorities believed they could have been together in Lloyd’s grandfather’s 1997 tan Chevy Trailblazer.

The alert was cancelled at 8:45 p.m.
