No. 1 Marian rallies over No. 2 Saint Francis


FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – NAIA No. 2 Saint Francis could not hold off a second half surge from rival No. 1 Marian in a 35-21 loss at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium Saturday.

Marian’s Krishawn Hogan had 136 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. The Knights had 420 yards of total offense compared to Saint Francis’ 277.

Nick Ferrer struggled against the Knights. He threw a school record five interceptions and was sacked six times.

Saint Francis falls to 4-1 on the season while Marian moves to 5-0. The Cougars head to Siena Heights next week.
