Fort Wayne, Ind (WANE) – The Salvation Army’s downtown Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking donations of socks, underwear, bar soap, laundry detergent, deodorant and razors. These items are used by the men who are going through the rehabilitation program at 427 West Washington Blvd. The Center is a residential work-therapy program that includes structure, personal responsibility, counseling, spiritual guidance and life skills training.
Items may be dropped off directly to the facility location at 427 West Washington Blvd. or at either Family Thrift store. The front desk of the Rehabilitation Center is staffed twenty-four hours per day Monday to Sunday. Staff requested that these donations do not go into the regular drop off boxes outside of the thrift stores so that items may be clearly designated for the Rehabilitation Center.
