FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A West Coast wine maker will visit 38 states in 68 nights, traveling a total of 12,000 miles to offer people samples of his wine and food.

Val Haraszthy, founder and winemaker at Sonoma’s Haraszthy Family Cellars spent the better part of this year driving a 1951 Willy’s Jeep around the country with a trailer. There he holds Weber grills to cook food with his own personal spices along with wine. Haraszthy also uses this trail to meet other distributors and retailers throughout the country that sell his wines.

The tour started in April in Oakland and runs til October. In all, he will visit 38 states in 68 nights. He’ll rack up 12,000 miles. Haraszthy’s wines are available at S&V Liquors for sale.
