FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Two lanes of northbound Interstate 69 were closed late afternoon Monday while firefighters fought a vehicle fire.

Crews were called around 5 p.m. to the 307.8 milemarker of the interstate, just south of the US 30/Goshen Road interchange near the Hillegas Road overpass. There, a tan sedan was fully engulfed in flames.

A city dispatcher told NewsChannel 15 that the driving lane and center lane of the interstate was closed. It reopened around 6 p.m.

There were no injuries reported, the dispatcher said.
