Fort Wayne, Ind (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Furniture Bank collects donated furniture and household goods that still have life to share and provides them to families and individuals after a tragedy or misfortune. Simple items like sheet sets, blankets, new pillows, and table and chairs go a long way to rebuild after domestic violence, a fire, a disability or other difficulties alter a life. Before and After is a theme that the staff at Mustard Seed Furniture Bank witness everyday and they’ve selected it as the theme for their annual Charity Auction and Dinner.
This year the event will be held on October 6 at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, catered dinner and a lively, live auction that will culminate with a Beds 4 Kids auction. In 2015 over 930 beds were funded at the event, and the need continues. Tickets are $100 per person. Reservations will be accepted online at MustardSeedFortWayne.com.
WANE-TV is a proud sponsor of the event. Pat Hoffmann and Heather Herron will host the silent auction.
