FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – New ownership at Piere’s wants a fresh start and is taking steps to help former Piere’s customers who were bilked out of previously purchased concert tickets.
In a statement released Thursday, Hub Live Entertainment Center (The Hub) said it was not aware of tickets purchased for concerts in the future prior to buying Piere’s. Nor was it aware of patrons who purchased a “2016 Season Pass.”
The company said for customers who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster they should contact Ticketmaster if they have not yet received a refund. For customers who purchased tickets through the Piere’s Box Office with a credit card they should contact their credit card company. For people who purchased at the box office with cash they should retain their tickets for an exchange for any future concert at The Hub. Those exchanges will be honored for up to one year.
For the 15 or so people who purchased a season pass, their names will be left at will call for every upcoming show until Dec. 31.
