ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A tractor-trailer and car collided at U.S. 30 and West County Line Road early Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported at 12:03 a.m.
According to investigators, a semi traveling east on U.S. 30 failed to stop at a red light and collided with a car in the intersection.
The driver of the car was pinned inside after the collision. The person was eventually removed by firefighters and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not hurt.
The eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 at the Allen-Whitley County line were closed for about an hour while crews investigated and cleaned up the road.
The crash is under investigation.
