FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Carroll high school catcher Hayden Jones – one of the top junior class prospects in the state – is heading to SEC country to continue his baseball career when his time is done as a Charger.
Jones verbally committed to Mississippi State on Wednesday night via his Twitter account.
Jones hit .435 last year for the Chargers during his sophomore season with two home runs and 32 RBI.
He was named to the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association 4A all-state second team.
