City Hall transformed into Kitty Hall

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Citizens Square and Allen County SPCA brought cat-petting to City Hall to showcase adoptable cats.

On Friday afternoon, the Allen County SPCA showcased adoptable kittens at the downtown location as a new way to introduce the community to available felines.

“We thought we could accomplish two important goals with this new program,” said Jessica Henry, Allen County SPCA executive director. “We know that animal lovers will enjoy a break from the work day to visit with and pet adoptable kittens, plus it will be great for the kitties to all that enrichment and exposure to potential adopters.”

Plans are in place for adoptable felines to be at Citizens Square on the fourth Friday of every month.
