Police ask for information about New Haven power tools theft

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) The New Haven Police Department has released photos in hopes of gathering information that will lead to the identity of the person suspected of stealing power tools from a business back in June.

The theft took place on June 18 at Westwood Lumber, located in the 1400 block of Bandelier Road. The suspect entered the business and took the power tools. He was seen driving a dark blue Ford pickup truck, possibly an F-250. Police enhanced a security photo, but were only able to obtain a partial license plate number.

Anyone who has information that could help police identify the man seen in the photo or determine the owner of the truck is asked to call the New Haven Police Department at (260) 748-7080 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP.
