Science Sunday: Eggs-pierment

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Science Central is hosting its annual Egg Drop Competition on Sunday. It’s a time for completion for young and old to see who can build the best contraption to keep an egg safe.

Each year, eggs fly from the roof of Science Central to the ground in a device designed to protect eggs. Check-in starts at 12:30 p.m. with the competition starting at 1 p.m.

Martin Fisher from Science Central joined NewsChannel 15 on First News Sunday to show off some eggs-travagant experiments featuring eggs.

Watch the video above to see an easy way to tell the difference between a raw and hard-boiled egg and to learn more about what’s going on at the science museum this summer.

There are prizes for the most creative, scientific devices and the most devastating crash and the most devastating crash that an egg survives.
