FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Cheddar’s General Manager Andrea Salyers joined First News Sunday to talk about the Friends Don’t Let Friends Eat Alone’ campaign.
Salyers says the founders of Cheddar’s believed that when a meal is prepared and cooked fresh just for you, it not only tastes better, it makes you feel good.
She says of course, this takes time.
“That’s why we start our slow-cooked meats early in the morning,” Salyers.
And, Salyers says, they’re constantly chopping, whisking, sautéing and stirring.
“This explains why we have twice as many cooks as other restaurants,” she said.
The campaign encourages healthy eating with friends and family.
“When you gather at the table with family and friends at Cheddar’s, we want you to feel looked after and appreciated in a warm, welcoming atmosphere,” Salyers said.
