Former Purdue standout Rapheal Davis taking skills to China

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – According to an article in the Lafayette Journal & Courier Fort Wayne native Rapheal Davis will be taking his skills to China for the next couple of weeks.

The article states that Davis will be part of an all-star squad of American players (many with Big Ten ties) that will play in a tournament against Chinese Basketball Association teams.

Davis, a former South Side High School standout, averaged 8.3 points and 3.9 rebounds a game last year as a senior at Purdue.

He was the 2015 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.

According to the article, Davis is looking to find a spot to play professionally overseas.
