Three Rivers Festival goers discuss security concerns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- The 48th annual Three Rivers Festival is underway this weekend in downtown Fort Wayne. Some people might think twice before heading out after the tragedy in Dallas.

The Festival is one of Indiana’s largest parties, it takes lot of planning and security to pull off.

It was seemingly business as usual at the Three Rivers Festival on Friday night. People were out enjoying food, drinks, music, and activities. Police were patrolling, but there was no overwhelming presence.

Some festival goers said they would like to see increased security, while others are okay with the way police are already patrolling.

The festival runs from Friday July 6, through Saturday July 16.
