On Tuesday, Animal Care and Control officials said it had taken in almost 100 lost pets – 49 dogs, 43 cats and seven rodents – from Saturday through Monday. On Wednesday then, the shelter said 35 of those pets had been reunited with their owners.

Owners who lost their pets can walk through the shelter or visit Animal Care and Control’s website and click on the “Found pets” icon to search for it. Owners must ID the pet in person at the shelter.

The Animal Care and Control business office is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
