HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) The Huntington County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a woman who was found in the backseat of a vehicle parked in a grocery store parking lot.
According to Coroner Philip Zahm, officers responded around 1:40 p.m. Thursday to Owen’s Supermarket, located at 2700 Guilford St.
Zahm said the vehicle was parked at the edge of the parking lot where people rarely park. He said it appeared she had been in the vehicle for several days.
The woman was identified as Tricia Spicer, 46. Zahm said at the time there was no sign of foul play and there was nothing physical found to allow his office to rule on a cause and manner of death.
The coroner’s office will wait for toxicology results before releasing an official ruling.
