CONVOY, Ohio (WANE) – Washington Redskins left guard Kory Lichtensteiger returned to the gridiron at Crestview High School to host his annual Kory Lichtensteiger football camp.
The NFL veteran has put on the camp in Convoy for the past three years. His goal is to provide a Division 1 style camp in a rural community where kids often have to travel far to get exposure from college coaches. Representatives from schools like Bowling Green, Kory’s alma mater, Ball State, Toledo, St. Francis, Defiance, Ohio Wesleyan, Northern Ohio, Trine were in attendance.
Also working the camp were two strength and conditioning coaches from the Redskins who taught campers the importance of proper nutrition and exercise.
Lichtensteiger is under contract with the Redskins through 2017.
