Trooper Michael Biggs stopped the van after he witnessed the driver, Eric Hickerson, 30, of Hamilton County, Ohio following another vehicle too closely.  After Hickerson was pulled over, another trooper arrived with a narcotics detecting dog named Chase.  After sniffing the air outside the van, Chase  indicated there might be drugs inside.

A search of the van turned up approximately 400 hits of LSD, 4.6 pounds of marijuana, 21 grams of cocaine, prescription pills, methamphetamine and various kinds of drug paraphernalia.

Hickerson faces preliminary charges of possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
