5 arrested for dealing meth

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Five people from Fort Wayne are accused of traveling to LaPorte County to deal methamphetamine.

According to the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit, the group was arrested Thursday after a sting operation in which officers planned a controlled situation in the parking lot of a Walmart.

The following people were arrested and charged:

  • Oscar K. Griffin, 36, Aiding/Inducing Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony
  • Mario Hanserd, 25, Aiding/Inducing Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony
  • Cahniqua Sparks, 23, Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony
  • Gina Holliday, 36, Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony
  • Dovie Neer, 26, Dealing Methamphetamine Level 5 Felony

The arrests were the result of a 36 hour long investigation into the group.  LaPorte County is about 100 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
