Softball Semi-States: South Adams’ storybook season ends; Leo put on hold

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – South Adams softball’s storybook season came to an end on Saturday with a 9-0 loss to Madison-Grant in the 2A semi-state in LaVille.

This was the Starfires’ first ever semi-state game in softball. South Adams finishes the year 21-7.

In 4A Leo will have to wait until Monday to play in the Harrison semi-state. After the first semi-state semi-final between Penn and Zionsville was postponed in the third inning the semi-state was moved to Monday at 11:00AM. Leo will play Munster in the second semi-final at 12:30PM. The semi-state championship will be Monday at 7:00PM.
