Northrop girls prepare for state meet in Bloomington

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – With 10 state titles in the trophy case – by far the most in Indiana girls track history – the Northrop Bruins are headed to another state final after winning the regional meet with a score of 98, beating second place Homestead by over 20 points.

This annual powerhouse is sending several girls to Bloomington to try to claim their first state title since 2013. They have competitors in the 100m & 300m hurdles, 400m dash, high jump, long jump, pole vault, shotput, and the 4x400m relay.

The Bruins will compete at the C. Haugh Track & Field Complex in Bloomington tomorrow beginning at 3 p.m.
