FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Homestead graduate Caleb Swanigan will have a chance to impress his home-state NBA team as he’s one of six players that will attend the Indiana Pacers’ third pre-draft workout on Monday.
Other players scheduled to participate on Monday: Anthony Barber (North Carolina State), Ben Bentil (Providence), Kay Felder (Oakland), Armani Moore (Tennessee), and Rasheed Sulaimon (Maryland).
Monday’s workout could go a long way in determining whether or not Swanigan will stay in the NBA draft or return to Purdue for his sophomore season. Underclassmen that haven’t signed with an agent have until next Wednesday to withdraw from the NBA draft and head back to college.
The Pacers own two picks in this year’s draft, one pick in both the first and second rounds, the 20th and 50th overall selections.
The 2016 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
