The birds – Gus and Maggie – were banded by Indiana Department of Natural Resources officials at the Indiana Michigan Power Center in downtown Fort Wayne, where they have nested. Conservation officers band the birds with harmless metal tracker rings so they can keep track of them as they migrate in the fall.

A camera on top of the I&M Power Center takes a photo of the falcon’s nest every 15 seconds. The FalconCam is online and can be viewed at any time by clicking here.
