Komets finish sweep of Utah Grizzlies with 5-3 Game 4 win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Komets are on to the Western Conference Finals. Fort Wayne finished off a four game sweep of the Utah Grizzlies with a 5-3 win in Game 4 Friday night.

Shawn Szydlowski and Garrett Thompson each had two goals in the win. Trevor Cheek also scored.

Pat Nagle stopped 26 saves on 29 shots in the win.

The Komets will face the winner of the Missouri Mavericks-Allen Americans series in the Western Conference finals. Allen currently leads that series 3-1.
