Purdue lands Michigan graduate transfer Spike Albrecht

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WANE) – Former Michigan point guard Spike Albrecht is heading to West Lafayette.

Albrecht announced on his Twitter page Tuesday that he will be using his 5th year of eligibility to play at Purdue as a graduate transfer.

A Crown Point native Albrecht played a little more than three seasons at Purdue, missing most of the 2015-2016 season with a hip injury.

Albrecht is the second player from Michigan to transfer to Purdue. Max Bielfeldt played with the Boilers
