Junior League Fort Wayne celebrates 75 years of service

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Junior League Fort Wayne celebrated 75 years of service Saturday night at Parkview Field.

The organization held its annual fundraiser at the 400 Club. Hundreds of people enjoyed food, live music, a raffle, and silent auction.

Money raised will go towards the organizations new project called “First Things First.” Money will also be used for JLFW’s sponsored initiatives and training that promote readiness for elementary school and early education activities for children.

Junior League Fort Wayne is an organization made up of women who promote volunteerism and organize fundraisers to benefit women’s and children’s organization.

Saturday’s fundraiser was dubbed “Denim and Diamonds.”
