FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The driver of a car crashed through a light pole and smacked a downtown building Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the intersection of Broadway and Washington Boulevard shortly after 4 p.m.
Investigators said two cars collided and the impact sent one vehicle into the light pole and building.
The driver of the car that hit the building was taken by paramedics to a hospital with a possible broken leg. The other driver was not hurt.
Broadway was closed between Washington and Jefferson Boulevards for less than an hour while crews cleaned up debris and towed away the car.
The building did not sustain any damage.
The crash is under investigation.
