ELKHART, Ind. (WANE) An Indiana State Trooper crashed into a horse and buggy with his squad car late Sunday evening in Elkhart County after the buggy driver failed to yield the right of way according to investigators.
The crash took place at the intersection of State Road 13 and County Road 20 at 10:42 p.m.
Trooper Peter Bradley was driving his marked squad car north on State Road 13 when the horse and buggy, which had no functioning lights, pulled into his path. The horse ran from the accident scene and was found later at the buggy driver’s home.
