Homestead’s Law runs way to Michigan State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Homestead senior Brayden Law is heading to the Big Ten as the distance runner signed with Michigan State track & cross country on Wednesday.

Law is one of the area’s most decorated distance runners in recent memory.

On March 26 he won the 3,200 meter championship at Indiana’s indoor state meet in West Lafayette.

Last fall he finished second at the state cross county meet after winning a regional title.

He finished seventh at the state track meet as a junior in the 1,600 meters and 17th in the 3,200 meters.

Law drew interest from a number of Big Ten school as well as Notre Dame.
