Wisler strikes out six in 2016 debut

ATLANTA (WANE) – Former TinCap and Bryan, Ohio native Matt Wisler struck out six Friday night in his 2016 debut against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Wisler, starting on the mound for the Braves, went 6.2 innings giving up 7 hits and 4 earned runs.

Wisler received a no-decision as the Braves eventually lost 7-4.

Last year as a 22-year old rookie Wisler went 8-8 with a 4.71 ERA for the Braves.
