Komets place forward Leo Thomas on waivers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Komets announced Thursday that center Leo Thomas has been placed on waivers.  The veteran forward scored four goals, 14 points and +13 in 26 games and was skating his 13th pro year.

The Komets will skate a home-and-home series against the Indy Fuel this weekend to cap the 2015-16 regular season.  The Komets will travel to Indy for a 7:35pm faceoff Friday before hosting the Fuel in Fort Wayne’s home season finale Saturday at 7:30pm.

The Komets have clinched the Midwest Division title and home ice advantage in the first round of the 2016 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs.  The first two games will be played at the Memorial Coliseum Friday, April 15 at 8pm and Saturday, April 16 at 7:30pm.  The Komets opponent is yet to be determined.
