LAGRANGE, Ind. (WANE) – A man is in the LaGrange County Jail for apparently shooting an arrow into his neighbor’s house.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, a couple heard a loud thud on their wall above their bed Thursday night. When they turned the lights on they discovered an arrow protruding from the wall above their heads.
Deputies arrived at the home in the 2300 block of County Road South 460 East and took statements. During their investigation, the deputies observed suspicious activity coming from the home next door.
Deputies went to the house and talked with Ricky Randol, 21, Kendallville, about the situation. A department report said while Randol was under Miranda rights he told deputies he shot an arrow at the house next door.
Randol was taken to jail and has been initially charged with criminal recklessness, criminal mischief and public intoxication.
