FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Police made two drug arrests Thursday in what they say is a continued effort to curb dealing and usage along the Goshen Road & Coliseum Boulevard corridor.

Investigators got numerous tips about drug activity taking place at a hotel in the 3400 block of Coliseum.

When officers made contact with the people in one hotel room, they found one person with a warrant along with 12 grams of synthetic marijuana and eight hydrocodone tablets in plain view.

The person with the warrant was taken in to custody and charged with misdemeanors.

Officers also arrested the renter of the room, 29-year-old Heather Black. She’s facing two drug possession charges.
